While the concussion lawsuits are ridiculous, its more like the owners would rather a diminished product than put even 1/1000 of a percent of profit at risk to a lawsuit, or to the cost of more extensive long term player care.
And what's wild is the NFLPA association has fought them at just about every attempt to increase personal foul penalties and rule changes in the name of player safety.
