They probably won't start working on a plan until August at the earliest. They have to set boundaries, transfer the debt (for construction and pensions), elect a school board, and hire administrators and staff. Give it another two years after a plan is set. I wouldn't expect a new St. George ISD until the 2025-26 school year at the EARLIEST, probably 26-27.
