It's our problem because the 200 million are determined to snuff the 7 million, and the 7 million have enough nuclear weapons to kill the species if they start firing them. So while I agree we need to GTFO of the middle east ASAP, that's going to come with some bad shite we either have to accept, like hundreds of millions of dead and missiles potentially flying our way from Russia and China, or we do what we can to make sure it doesn't get there.

We are intricately entangled in this whether we like that or not.
