You're right. Dave Portnoy to John Mulaney for comedy is a terrible comparison.

Well it wasn't a direct comparison of course

I'm just saying that I enjoy the "presentation" that both provide. And that in the stand up realm, that part of it, how they do their schtick, mannerisms, etc. is probably more determinative of whether I watch their stuff repeatedly than the quality/my interest in the underlying content itself (in stand up, the jokes).
