My family did just that for a family member when they were homeless during Katrina.

You think giving a family member a place to crash for a while is addressing the homeless problem?

I let my bother and his wife live with us for months following their home burning a few years ago. That’s not helping the homeless situation, that’s being family.
I’m sure plenty of folks here have done similar things.

Speak for yourself. I donate to the food bank our church runs to help families in need and I donate to Jimmie Hale Mission in Bham. Unlike you who expects other people’s tax dollars to solve the problem, I actually do something with my own money. Take your pathetic mockery elsewhere.

Why do you assume I don’t pay taxes? Why would you not want your taxes to take blight off the street? That’s wonderful that you give to charities and people in need btw
