re: Do you ever layup/hit into the rough intentionally for a softer lie?

I'm surprised no one questioned what bounce you are working with on that wedge. High bounce may not be doing you any favors on tight lies. As I understand it, preventing the leading edge from getting under the ball; very little margin for error. But is buttery out of the fluffy stuff.
