Well, when you get married, you become "one," not get married and stay two. If that's the case, why get married?
You have legitimate concerns about getting married and the high divorce rates, so I understand you think it's imperative to get a pre-nup to protect yourself. However, if you're worried about getting screwed by the person you're marrying, you probably shouldn't be marrying her or him or him/her.
