We have used the roller attachment to roll out other things besides pasta dough like any dough that requres rolling out thin blankets, such as perogis, hand pies, eggroll, dumplings. Also, laminated dough for danish and croissants, and thin sugar cookie dough and crackers.

But if you don't see yourself making any of the things I mentioned above, then it will be a dust collector for you.
