Yeah.

Incinerating two cities worth of hundreds of thousands of innocent Japanese people & cities was exactly how I'd describe "humane".

OH WAIT.

And btw, Nagasaki coincidentally boasted a large Christian population. (I don't find its being targeted any coincidence at all, knowing what we know about who was in charge of war decisions.)

You're not into history are you. Here's a tiny hint: Okinawa (pop. 500K) saw 150K civilian deaths. i.e., Nearly 1/3rd of the population.

Japan's population was SEVENTY-ONE MILLION (71,000,000). Okinawa-level deaths, suicides, etc. would have resulted in 21,300,000 civilian deaths, as opposed to the 200K-300K killed in the ABomb blasts.
