Get a shave ice from Wailua Shave Ice. Only other store is in Kauai and trust me, it is life changing. I'd go with Triple Coconut if I were you. LINK
If you're driving to see Multnomah (highly recommend) an the Gorge, go a little further down for lunch and get the halibut fish and chips from Bingham fish market in Cascade Locks. best I've ever had: LINK
