2. Shilese Jones, 21, 22 when games start, near lock
3. Suni Lee, 21
4. Gabby Douglas, 28 (depends on rehab progress)
5. Leanne Wong, 20
6. Kayla DiCello, 20
7. Jordan Chiles, 23
8. Jade Carey, 23

I’m talking about the vast majority of girls in gymnastics. By the time they are college age they have basically aged out. Most are starting Elite between 12-14. And thier first peak is 15 or 16. It’s very hard for them to keep that up. The 2020 (2021) Olympic gymnasts were our oldest average wv’ve had in decades and it was against the norm. In 2016 it was 19. And before that 16-17.
