You can do it. Just find good quality 3 or 4 year old stuff. Just kind of scour the local shop’s used racks. You’ll run across some deals somewhere.

For Driver, FW, Hybrids, look in the Ping G400, TaylorMade M2 and Sim2 families. Will probably be the most forgiving options.

Irons, check out same as above and add Mizuno JPX 919 Hot Metals to the list to look for.

Wedges, Cleveland RTX & CBX, Vokey SM7 or SM8, Ping Glide’s, Callaway Jaws.

Putter, you can probably find you a solid Odyssey putter for a reasonable price.


Just a few things to be looking for and try to start piecing together. I’m sure some others will chime with ideas as well.
