It definitely is a lot.

Because 190 is “small” as it is.

177 is probably close to 0-1% tile for the position.

Again, last season nobody in CFB had more than 23 carries a game, only 7 backs in the entire country had between 20-22.something carries a game. These are not the days much any more where teams really just ride a dude hard. There's so much more passing and athletic running QBs now where it's very rare to find teams giving a ton of carries to 1 guy every game.

I’m trying to see where these arbitrary numbers come from. Did I say somewhere I want a RB to have 25 carries?

College RB usage has not changed nearly as much as the NFL. You are trying to argue with me but I don’t disagree with you. I literally explained that in the last post. I don’t need 25 carries. But one of them has to be able to do traditional RB things

Or do you want a stable of 5’11” 195 RBs? Do you think that is common in SEC? I’m trying to see what the disconnect is here

Though I sure hope we land Simon, we have a big back in Jackson for at least the next 2 years. Then we have Caden Durham, who will be great and is a very good size running back for 3 years. If we don't sign Simon, we'll still be in good shape. And we have 2 more years to either recruit a "traditional big back", or get one in the portal.
