Hopefully it won't be 105 degrees
It will more than likely be close, that's why I'm not going. I've played the course and went to the Shell Houston Open when it was held at The Golf Club of Houston, formerly Redstone. It's super long and it's a tough walk with the heat. Long walks from #1 green to # 2 tee box, #9 green to #10 tee, #17 green to #18 tee. There is no where to cut across the course, the front 9 makes a big loop. The back 9 is a little easier as there are a few holes that are side by side.
I'm not trying to tell you not to go, just be prepared for some serious walking if you want to follow certain players and with it being a shotgun start with all of the guys on the course at the same time, you'll have to be quick to catch a few holes of each of your favorites.
I went to the PGA tournament in Houston earlier this month, the weather was fantastic and the course was easy to navigate being that you could catch several holes within a short distance. We played The Golf Club of Houston on the Saturday we were there and it was fun to play, I highly recommend it.
Anyway, if you decide to go, have fun.
