f you are looking for a single, never married, attractive woman in that age range that wants to settle down now; picking will be super slim

Not necessarily. They're out there.

The problem is when they want to settle down NOW, after spending their prime years partying. Nobody worth a damn wants leftovers.

I have no issues with the ones who always wanted to settle down, tried to settle down, but it just didn't work out for whatever reason (excluding "because she's psycho", etc.).

The sense of entitlement is high in either category though. If they're remotely attractive - and even if they aren't in most cases - then they've got the "I deserve" and "won't settle" syndromes.

I got back into the dating game at 35 after being married for 13 years. It was rough. A couple of friends of mine were in similar situations and were all over the dating apps. The amount of drama and shite that would go down was popcorn worthy. So I stayed off those, focused on building my business and going to the gym. Even being in construction and fire/ems, I'd quit doing a lot of the work I did when I was younger.

I met my wife after we'd both completed a Tough Mudder. I was 36 and she had just turned 31. Our second date was a spartan race. She was in GREAT shape, never married, high school teacher that also trains horses, owned her own house, masters degree with no student loan debt, all her vehicles paid off. Neither of us had kids. We bought a ranch property a couple years ago and have a 19 month old daughter now.

There's no way I would have pulled that unicorn if I hadn't taken the time to get myself right after my divorce.
