Any sitting member of Congress would be a terrible fricking idea. The Senators suggested are either war mongers or too valuable for Trump’s legislative agenda.

God only knows what horrific Ohio appointment may be made by the Ohio governor. I am firmly opposed to JD Vance for that reason alone. You need all your Vance’s in the senate to have any morsel of hope that the Majority leader isn’t John Cornyn if the Rs manage to flip the senate.

Picking anyone bc of their race/gender is stupid.

Noem is Tim Scott in drag and if anything happened to Trump (heart attack/impeachment/JFK) we’re fricked. She would be a deer in headlights and then turn into Mike Johnson.

His best options are Vivek (my fave) or Sarah Huckabee. Huckabee has run a state. And she’s fearless.
