Are you Tech-00? Ed Orgeron had a 3-23 record at Ole Miss and a losing record overall. Jay Johnson is in his forties and has already been to Omaha 3 times as a HC twice in the finals and won it. There is no comparison so stop dumbass

I actually think it’s a good comparison. He has the same facial expression. He’s a good recruiter. Had a once in a lifetime team and has followed up with one of the worst teams in 20 years. The comparison is actually pretty good. Think about it before you call someone a dumbass. Tiger1988, you probably celebrated the Ed O hire, probably wanted Dave Aranda instead of Brian Kelly and probably wanted to retain Les after the 2015 season.

Jay Orgeron Johnson did not make his bones in the SEC. I doubt very much if he had coached in the SEC he would know where Omaha was on a map. I have never seen worse situational hitting from LSU. He had a bunch of swing for the fencers last year that connected a lot to make up for bad pitching, except for Skenes. This team strikes out waaaay too much for an SEC team. That’s on Johnson. He recruited and signed most of them and he is after all the “hitting” coach. If he took this current team back to the state Arizona he might make a regional. This is a weak weak SEC team.
