re: Anybody have a dog scared of storms?

My friend in high school had a German shepherd that hated me, I always had to use the side door, the dog had to be outside. One day a storm comes in, one of his parents let it in, and it runs up to me and jumps in my lap just trembling from the thunder. I thought I was going to get mauled but this bastard dog wanted me to be its security blanket even though it hated me. Dogs are weird.

I thought we made peace that day, but the next time I came over it hated me again.
