I understand why some want to support Ukraine, and take no issue with them as long as they understand why some of us dont.

I just dont see how this ends well, and seems we're just prolonging it.

I certainly understand both sides, and am thankful we live in a country where we can openly debate this.

I’m simply pointing out the long-term ramifications of failing to support allies that many here don’t seem to consider. They see the short-term, I’m offering a different point-of-view.

If we turn our backs on Ukraine, pacific countries will slowly side with a China.

Besides, look at every one of our representatives. Funds that could be used to support Ukraine and stabilize the world are not going to be magically returned to you, or even pay down the debt. They will be repurposed to some other program to buy votes.

The first 6 months of this fiscal year saw an increase in the national deficit of $1 Trillion btw. The report was released this week, but no one here seems to want to talk about it.
