I was fired once. Most people have. It seems like the end of the world…it isn’t.

Take a few days to “grieve” losing your job and then launch a full-on assault of a job search. Send resumes to anyplace that you will work, whether they accept them or not. Call everyone from the janitor to the ceo. Take anything you can get to keep from having a gap in your employment.

Honestly, the biggest things that keep folks from getting a job offer when I try to find help, is their social media and the fact that most people can’t pass a drug test, so do what ever you have to do with respect to those two.

Most of all, take a look at yourself. Your boss did not just come to work today and decide to fire you. Do what you have to so it never happens again.
