and FTR, I don't think the guy will get off completely. but after watching just about everyone from the group of highschoolers and the Carlson group having been caught in untruthful testimony and watching the video, a reasonable person would believe a guy being choked, hit, and a guy trying to push his head under water could be in fear of his life or great bodily harm.

I thought the judge appeared to favor the kids. The police were obviously biased.

If there is a civil trial, I think the Carlson group is at least 50% responsible. The high school kids about 35% and maybe 15% Mui.
