I'm not trying to be too negative here, but does anyone else on this board think that our o-line is out of shape. Maybe a little too heavy, not fast enough? Just wondering what everyone else thinks.

This was basically the same dominating group as last year, and the year before that.
Their performance this year is put squarely on the coaches' shoulders; allowing everyone to put 8 in the box just about every snap.

I thought the OL played well until after the Bama game, where it looked like it just didnt feel like giving the effort anymore. The whole team looked sluggish at times this year, esp after Bama.

Without a viable passing game there wasnt much Crowton could do about it.

Who's fault is that? I'll give you a hint; it's not the players.

The OL played very well overall this year. It just becomes a problem when teams start stacking 8 and 9 in the box.

That analysis fits the defensive line more than the O Line.

The O-Line only gave up 16 sacks, blocked for a 1000 yard rusher, and 2000 yards total.

This is funny. How are our coaches supposed to prevent the other team's defense from putting 8 in the box? The only way to do that is with a passing game. That requires a QB. Based on our QB play other teams should have put 9 in the box.

WRONG! I will give you a hint...it could just possibly be the position in charge of throwing passes.
