I will say that though it's no real problem in the interactions they have been awkward in the back of my head. I remember being able to have comfortable regular banter with blacks, but I've realized lately that I've cut it short as to not go to far, though innocently, and trigger off some kind of powder keg for saying something that used to be ok but now is considered "racist" with things I would say with black buds going back to my youth.

Ie...I grew up saying "xyz please" to friends of all colors. Now if I get to comfortable in a conversation with a black person it may naturally come out and things can turn quick. Just not worth the hassle atp.
