2011 team had an excuse for complete lack of talent. This team has players that are talented but for some reason everyone who performed last year has regressed massively. Can't avoid putting this on coaching at this point. They're responsible. There's no leadership and a complete lack of discipline and focus in the games.



Also, Braswell was nowhere near this bad at SC. I don't know what happened there. is he playing injured?

It’s 100% coaching, last night you have man on third and first with 1 out and Milam batting from the right side and you let him swing instead of bunting and tying the game?

And yeah Braswell is hurt, hurting this team

Braswell wasn’t particularly heralded at South Carolina. The idea is that he could get a fresh start and see some improvement. My best guess given his background is that they spent so much time and effort concentrating on improving his offensive performance that his defensive skills atrophied. Maybe he would have more success with less pressure at 2B.
