Don't push your luck. I had lots of childhood and later exposure to poison ivy and oak with never a reaction. Then at 45 gardening in Baton Rouge, the miserable rash began.

My reaction is annoying but much less than my wife's who usually ends up at a dermatologist getting shots.

Curious thing is that I usually spot the 3-leaves even mixed in with Virginia creeper. My wife simply cannot recognize it.
