How many almost homers did cooper give up in omaha? I dont remember any. All i remember are some strikeouts, couple singles, groundballs, and liner right back at him

Cooper also lit the zone up.. something This team struggles to do a lot. Almost every leadoff guy gets on and we are constantly in hitter counts.

I’d gladly take a Cooper type guy. This team has absolutely no one it can count on outside of Holman.

Go back and look. There were tons of deep fly ball outs in Omaha. Get down 1-0 or 2-0, throw it center cut and let’s see if they can hit it far enough.

Not talking just about Cooper but referencing him because he himself said it many times there. That he was just going to throw it over the middle and they can’t hit it out.
