It's frustrating having people like you talk down to people who are trying to better themselves. All you seem to be doing is lumping everyone together and applying generalized statements to them.
Sorry you feel that way. Like most things in life accomplishing goals takes effort and when it comes to health lifestyle changes. If you want to accomplish your goals you can't use your kids as some type of excuse or crutch. When I was a kid I didn't get to dictate to my parents what I had for dinner I either ate what they fixed or I didn't eat at all. I keep forgetting how things are now with parents doing whatever little Johnny and Suzy say so forgive me for that. If your kids won't eat anything healthy nothing is stopping you from making them their unhealthy meal and you simply making a shake in a blender to have and add whatever you want to get the desired macros - pro, carbs, fats, cals etc that you want. Takes 2 minutes so kids isn't an excuse for something like that. Kids can be an excuse for the sleep I have no disagreement there and sometime(s) life does get in the way but unless you find workarounds you will never lose that last 40 pounds no matter what drugs you are on.

Hypothetical for you ron
let's assume that we are talking about an obese person that is medically incapable of starting a workout routine (due to physical limitations) and that this person MUST lose weight to improve quality and longevity of life:
Do you recommend:
1) gastric sleeve
2) just eat better and go to the gym even though you are physically incapable of doing so
3) GLP-1
Are you still standing strong in your conviction that this person should avoid GLP-1's ? (I bet you are)
