The worst single place was on the ear when I was in middle school. It was some kind of bee or wasp and my ear swelled up about twice its normal size. Was called "elephant ear" for a couple of weeks.
Worst bug encounter ever was when I yanked a dead plant out of a large pot only to find that hornets had made a nest there. I ran about a quarter of a mile to get away from them and was stung over 30 times. It made me sick for a day.
