The two I knew prior to COVID were both high stress related. One a lawyer dealing with a massive litigation nightmare over multiple years, and the other a PhD student trying to finish up and get ready to find a job while helping care for newborn twins.
Post-COVID, that "stress induced" argument is much harder to justify, or at least the likelihood of it occurring has dramatically increased. I know a secretary I work with, a nurse on the same block as I, a former colleague at a university in the Midwest and a chemist friend of mine at large research lab in the area.
None disclosed were going through traumatic or high-stress life events at the time, but it is possible that one may have been and not talked about it for personal privacy issues. But the likelihood that is the case with all 4 is extremely slim. All have it within months of each other, all around the time of vaccination...
