That doesn't matter. You don't have to be completely still and set...you just have to beat them to the spot and not be going forward towards the ballcarrier. Now whether or not it was actually a charge is still questionable, but her moving is not the reason.


It sucks....but Iowa is the better team tonight. Could run it back and very possibly have a completely different result. Iowa had an incredible shooting night. LSU had a very poor night. That's just how it is sometimes.

This is what happened to SC last year. Iowa had an incredible night and put them out, then ran into a team in LSU that had a better night than them in the championship.

Difference is, Iowa won't sniff a sweet 16 after this. LSU could return every single player on the court but HVL should Reese decide to come back for one more run. She should...she'll be more successful and be in the spotlight more at LSU than at whatever team she could end up on in the WNBA. Probably make more money with NIL as well. Plus get Samyah Smith back from injury, the Arkansas transfer that's a 6'3" wing. Plus anybody LSU could pick up in the portal. LSU will be very very good without Reese. With Reese, they'll be right back in the E8/F4 next year.
