Kind of seems this is one of those things you can say "I'll let you know when I get there" until the day you die, so worrying about it is futile.
Therefore, every morning I just put the day in God's hands, in manibus dei, and just do my best to see/follow the path He lays out. Rinse/repeat and nothing to stress over.
