The portrayal of LSU WBB players in the LA Times was more than just a case of sexism or raceism. It was written by a “professional” writer and approved all the way up the editorial chain of command and then published. Because of the language used to characterize these players it crosses into the area of defamation of character. I do not think it would be hard to hold the LA Times or the writer accountable with a defamation suit from LSU or the women on the team. Just saying.
