I'm disappointed. We lost players, superstars even; but we returned quite a few too. This is supposed to be a good team, hell it's still ranked in the Top 10.
Top 10 teams aren't supposed to:
lose a road series to a mediocre Miss State team
lose a home series to anyone
get swept by anyone
get run-ruled on Sunday when in position to take the series (twice)
That shite isn't supposed to happen to a team that returned their 1st Team All American slugger, a weekend starter who was 8-2 and won the deciding game of the CWS, the closer, and brought in another conference team's Friday starter. You can't just say "that's baseball"
and pretend everything's business as usual.
