Everyone that posted is right on the money.Coker won the nc the year after Davis left.Saban has been gone for 3 years prior to Miles winning the nc.
He had some Saban recruits,but he took those recruits and molded them into champions.He made Hester a hybrid rb,offered Trindon a scholly when only SMiss and Southern offered.The comparisons stop at how many rings each of them won,that's it.Saban still doesn't have a better win percentage than Miles at LSU,and Saban had his own guys to coach.
