What I find interesting is how each were in the shoes of one of the other characters. Ally Sheedy (the basket case) played a criminal (Yang). Judd Nelson (the criminal) played a brain (the doctor from the virus episode). Anthony Michael Hall (the brain) played a jock-type (Trout, the interim chief of police, season 8). Molly Ringwald (the princess) played a basket case; well she could be considered a criminal but she was "working" in the mental hospital, and if I'm not mistaken she was actually a patient. I assume if Emilio (the jock) was in an episode he would have played a "princess," possibly the diplomat from 6X01 Shawn Rescues Darth Vader.
