They’re not poor, they are financially responsible and smart. You’d be surprised how many people in their early 60’s that want to retire but can’t afford to since they spent all of that money for several years on lawn services instead of investing it.

Let’s say it’s $100 a month. Put that into a brokerage account and see what that would have turned into in 20-25 years. They could have probably retired in their late 50’s and definitely before 65.
