It does for me, and I try to buy American when I am aware that it is made in America.
For example, I recently bought tennis shoes made by Freedom Industries --- Made in the USA --- and they are the best pair of tennis shoes I have ever purchased.
But sadly, like most things today, many of the items I purchase online are made outside of the USA.
