re:Just like some high school refs I know defended the no call Saints/Rams.

I know I catch hate for it on here, but this is legit why I feel and post the way I do about officiating. Hard to have much trust or respect for them after that.

Respectfully disagree.
Bang-bang play on what is a foul 9/10 times and contact was made. Ref is running down the court and sees contact and ball not go in.
Obvi he didnt hit his hand, but in real time that was hard to tell.

Likewise w the saints/rams, if there was a review and they could get the call right its the right answer right??? Like we all want them to get it right

The issue is there should be an official review if there is under 90 seconds and its a foul, out of bounds, goaltend, etc.

Don't engage w/that guy. Myself, 62zip, and a couple of others who officiate ball IRL have tried to get him to understand mechanics/the art of officating and to volunteer but he wants none of it.

He's one of those you see at games that screams at every call.

ETA:Agree with you that there should be automatic reviews of any foul/scoring play with under 90 seconds of game time.

I can agree with that. Maybe even add that if the difference in the score between the 2 teams is within a pre-determined point range, any significant or questionable calls could be reviewable at any point in the game.
