It's a typical media position. They are all for high taxes and big government when the money is wasted on left-wing garbage, but when tax money is dedicated to an actual useful project that will provide actual useful things to the community, they all of a sudden become fiscal conservatives and cry like a spending hawk.

Or, worse, they think that LSU and the TAF should foot the entire bill, but entities outside of LSU should still be able to use it and profit from it.

By the way, do you know how many concerts and events that Baton Rouge isn't considered for because the River Center is too small and dumpy but Tiger Stadium is too big? This project is positive on so many levels for BR, it's no wonder that the media is against it. They just despise good things for people.
