i literally said if his job involves having and disseminating information and he didn't make arrangements for what he knows/controls to be handled by someone else, then it's his fault.

if he leaves the friday before after relaying everything that might come up to his boss or a covering coworker and they still blow him up, don't answer.

if he just walks out friday like he'll be back monday and expects not to be contacted to resolve loose ends, his fault.
