That cat on heron is amazing. Cats remember the patterns of other animals and stalk them where they know they'll be the most exposed. We have to change the spot we feed birds every week for this reason. I know the heron came down probably pretty quick, but I wonder what the cat would have done if the heron managed to get really high? Maybe enjoyed the ride till it got low again I'd guess.

Sweet cat. Took time out of his day to redirect the poor heron who was obviously off course.

Our outdoor cat usually doesn't bother the birds at the feeder.

The explosion of feathers at our back patio door say yesterday was not one of those days.
