I don't care about all of the feminist/political/social shite, but I'm just burned out on Star Wars. We enjoyed Mandalorian, after that it's all just generic Star Wars Lite.

That's what's scary for Disney. It's not just all the culture war stuff, It's people like you that are just over it. Idk if they can win people back. It'll be interesting to follow.

While I feel the same way, it just doesn’t make sense. The Star Wars Universe is a simply a space western.
If they hired good writers who knew how to tell a compelling story with believable story arcs and genuine character development, there’s really no reason they can’t be successful.
Think of some classic stories from the Bible, or Greek mythology, or borrow from old westerns, and write it for space on an alien world.
That’s what made Guardians of the Galaxy such a likable
and relatable series of movies in the Marvel Universe.
