Shows how little you know... North Texas' head coach used that season to propel himself to a P6 coaching job at Texas Tech.. and he's doing super well. UNT used their momentum to hire the guy who was Beard's interim at UT.. so yes, it undeniably can be a basis for building going forward.. look at what Wade did after an NIT berth.
