For me, the 2014 Spurs were peak basketball for obvious reasons. You still had an old school post player fitting into the modern flow of a game.
I find sports more entertaining when there’s a healthy balance of offense and defense. The NFL has issues with this as well at times. Baseball went through this when they raised the pitching mound and saw averages plummet overnight and ERA’s sail under 2.00. They corrected that mistake. The NBA has tinkered with 3 point distances before. There’s no reason they can’t again.
