At some point companies did fine giving pensions, now they don’t.

At some point we thought paid leave was a terrible idea, now many arguing for keeping status quo now negotiate time off upon hiring

Changes in employment have occurred since the Industrial Revolution.

Everyone here is accustomed and expecting many things from employers that prior generations never had. Companies do just fine. With advances in technology and other advances have made a 32 hour week entirely possible for many roles we have

Broadening your thinking and your questioning your damning assessments of all would benefit you. But we know that will not happen.

Exactly. It’s also funny that so many arguing for the status quo don’t realize that the status quo is the result of government action in 1940. The 40-hour work week is literally a creation of Congress.
