Even if it’s only 1 year, it’s a fantastic way to help get a rookie QB adjusted to the NFL. Something the Bears have never been good at doing. Allen at 1 year helping a rookie QB bloom > a 4th round pick.

People get way too caught up in age sometimes, if a player is still early 30's and absolutely dominating then it really isn't that big of a deal.
Guy just had the best year of his career, 108 catches for 1,243 yards 7 TD's and averaged 95.6 yards a game on a non playoff team that fired their coach and his QB got hurt.
