Pels just aren’t a mentally tough team so far this year. You could tell in the first quarter. We looked lethargic from the opening tip. Anytime we get off to a bad start, we tend to fold very easily. Combined with 0 4th quarter comebacks, you have a team that mentally just gives up way too easily. This team needs to find some of the mental fortitude they had in 2022.

I hate to say it but we’re a front runner team. If we start well we can blow teams out, but if not we don’t have the mental toughness to stay in games when we’re not playing our best.

Watch the Nuggets play. That’s a mentally tough team.
