I re-joined UREC last year expecting a lot of this, but to my surprise, I've only seen something like this maybe twice.

Joined Lifetime in Birmingham which is one of the nicest gyms I've ever been in.
I've always been members of like warehouse powerlifting gyms with no A/C where you can do whatever you want and lift with no shirt. Super old school shite.
Anyway.....
This Lifetime gym is like an upscale health club.
When it would get packed at around 4-5pm there would be a group of like 14 year old boys doing lat pulldowns and bicep curls. They'd then take off their shirts and pose in the mirror. They'd have their friends record them, lug around a tripod the whole time, take pictures and record video.
It would always blow my mind. Like... there are middle aged women walking around, nobody else is doing this, this isn't your highschool gym....
I've been lifting for like 20 years and never seen such bizarre narcissistic behavior be so pervasive in a particular group.
