It’s convenient how you left out South Carolina and Kentucky when discussing the path of LSU’s potential opponents.

Is it?

LSU wouldn't face USC until the Quarterfinals. And considering the fact Auburn beat USC by FORTY POINTS this season I'm assuming he felt Auburn would be the likely opponent should LSU make it that far.

Now, to be fair, you could substitute Kentucky for Alabama in that string. But all that would do is change LSU's average margin in four games from 18 to 13.5
