Clearly, if you proposed a thought experiment with an unsafe, ineffective vaccine, the analysis would be different. That wasn't the discussion 3 years ago (or whenever that thread was made).
But many people never assumed the vax was safe and effective bc there wasn’t enough data to prove that true before it was forced on people. For those people, it was foresight, not hindsight.

Meanwhile, folks just rolled up to the parking lot of their local Walmart, stuck their arms out of the car and took whatever was injected into them because... free donut.
